Sorry if it's obvious, but I don't see any Thursday specials there...just the $22 unlimited 2 hours of gameplay. Is this what people were talking about? 'Cause I thought there was something were you pay $10 from 7-close on Thursday or something.

Edit: It looks like it's hidden. It's the same color as the BG on my PC. I wonder if this means the promotion is supposed to be over? If anyone finds out, please share.

Btw, Gorrum, nice freakin' job on some of those scores! I've got to get adapted to X2 so I can start trying to take on some of those high 99s you and a few others got on there.

Just tried out the X2 machine yesterday.  The X2 songlist is pretty meager since a bunch of the good songs are locked right now, but overall it's a good selection on a machine with decent pads, so no complaints.  Anyone know how to set up a USB drive with that thing?  I see videos on youtube of people playing edits (mostly in Japan I think), but I can't figure out what I need to do to write an edit.  I'd like to make an edit for smooooch if I can figure out how. 

I heard a rumor that the Seattle Gameworks is getting Technika soon.  Most likely in a week or two.  Hopefully they can put the volume at a reasonable level.

Gameworks has Technika 2 right now. Platinum Crew is enabled, no idea if cards are available.

No, they are not compatible.  Only 2 cards.  Apparently Gameworks should have received 2 cards though.

Also, regarding Technika. It's awesome, but they don't have the cards yet. The dude An employee said they JUST got the machine in and hope to have the cards within a week. A shame since I had first place on the scoreboards for a while there...not bad for my first time EVER playing the game if I do say so myself.

Regarding DDRX2; Can someone point me to a link on how to utilize the USB drive? Can you save your data/scores to it? And how do we go about unlocking things on this mix? Is it via unlock codes only, or can we the players do something to unlock some of the music?

Scott, you'll need a registered Replay card to be eligible, but yes beyond that you just bring that in I believe.

Yep. I went today for lunch and asked the guy if I could use this repeatedly. He said sure. This is too awesome. Now I just need to hope the Asians excitement with Technika dies down soon so I can get another chance at it.

Asked about the T2 cards today, because they were supposed to have them this week, but they don't, and said they're coming in next week. I don't know what to believe as the people at the counter don't know anything at all though, probably have to grab whoever set up the machine in the first place.

EDIT: Ok went in again today and now they have em. $6 a piece

It's a pretty fun game! I wasn't able to register a Crew for us to join, as they cost 10,000 of the points you earn while playing the game. I'll be making a PNWBemani crew for us though.

It looks like GW is the new cool place to hang out!  X2 is surprisingly good (or at least I was surprised), and Technika is tons of fun.

Hello Washingtonians. Hey, is that X2 and upgrade on X1 hardware or the new X2 hardware?  If it's on X1 does it still have the pad lag?

I have 3 different Gameworks cards I need to use some time.. shame one of them only works in Las Vegas.  I see a Seattle trip sometime soon, especially if X2 doesn't lag..
