Hey, I've been searching around for an itg2 machine in the north of seattle area , but my efforts to find one have not been fruitful. (don't suggest acme please, thats so far away)
From reading these forums, the only one that seems to exist is apparently owned by this guy named Suko who is planning on either setting up his own arcade or getting his machine set up at a bowling alley or was going to have open garage nights or something.
My question is, does anyone know the current status of his efforts? Did he set up the open garage nights? Does he need help finding a suitable venue to place his ITG2 machine?
Any information would be awesome!
Thanks!

I would PM him.
As far as I know the machine is co-owned by Suko and his friend Tom.
Right now its in Tom's house.
Other than that I haven't heard of him setting up on garage nights or anything.

Welcome to the site, stale2000.
Yeah, there aren't any publicly available ITG2 machines north of Acme. :\

The bemani scene sucks for us northern players, doesn't it Stale?
Our machine is currently at my co-owners house near Redmond. I am still very interested in putting this machine in a public space, but unfortunately, my efforts have been met without any success from all the local arcades and bowling alleys. The likelihood of me starting my own arcade in the near future is very low due to lack of personal money to put towards starting the business. If I get it put someplace where the public can use it, you can bet your arse I'll be telling the whole damn world.
Stale, if you know a place that might be a good spot for our machine, let me know and I'll check it out. Any leads or contacts would be greatly appreciated. Right now I've been playing a lot of Extreme at Evergreen lanes in Everett. It's not the greatest place to play, but it's cheap and it works, and that's more than I can say about the majority of the dance games north of Seattle.

Tom lives in Redmond? I guess that's why I ran into him at Typhoon! Hmm...he probably lives about 5 minutes from my school...any chance I can ever pop around for a couple of games?

You'd have to talk with him. He's pretty leary on people knowing where he lives...I don't think he wants Bemani stalkers.

ADHD tangent: Typhoon is really tasty.
Actual comments: The North scene definitely sucks for actual playable machines. When I lived in Lynnwood, I just drove to ACME multiple times a week. :>
Also, RE: Tom, I totally understand how he feels. For me, I'm fine with people coming over and playing the Pop'n whenever they want (as long as it's working,) but I have to know them and I don't want anyone I'm not already comfortable with to end up with my address. My greatest fear would be to find my home address posted on the internet as a machine location.
