So Suko is still looking for a good public location to put his machine right?  On a whim, I made a phone call to Lynwood bowl and skate to see if they might be willing to have it located there.  They said that they had a contract with a company already so they couldn't do it, but I asked them to contact the company to see what they thought about it and the person said that he would and that the company will contact me back.

My question is is Suko still wanting/willing to place his machine here?  I saw that he was at one point, because he had already contacted them, but I wasn't sure if he had contacted the contracting company directly.

I had talked to the manager of the place a few times about it, but never asked him to ask the distributor. If they are interested, I'm willing to talk to them about the possibility. However, it's all relative to many factors and how much use it would get there. I used to live right next door to that place and played there all the time. While I like the people working there, I never saw another player the entire time I played there. I'm not sure if it's worth the risk (vandalism, etc) of putting the machine there if no one will be going there to play it.

In summary, just let me know if they're interested. I'm always open to revenue sharing in a good location.

Ok, I've been making a few phone calls.  I just got in contact with the Dale Turner Family YMCA.  The person that I talked to REALLY liked the idea and is directing me to the person in charge of the ymca.  Also, this would likely address you concern about vandalism, as ymca would have people watching it all the time.  I'll keep you updated.

Ok, so I got in contact with someone who is involved in the arcade machine business who said that he would try to help us out.

His name is Don and his email is jubie01@mail.ru

On the phone he said to send an email to him with a picture of the machine (he wants to know how big it is), and a full explanation of the situation.

edit: I'm also in contact with gameclucks and the guy in charge there is interested, but doesn't have space, but he is relocating in a month and said that he will have space.  I think your best bet is this place, as this guy expressed interest in holding tournaments.  He also has no other arcade games, so he isn't "locked in" with some contractor, its a lan center.

Gameclucks might work out, although anyone with a Russian email seems suspicious to me. Tongue

Yeah, Gameclucks would be an awesome location. I can vouch for them.

Also, Northshore YMCA is interested.  And I told them that you would get back to them (so tell me if/when you do).

The name of the Director of the Teen center is Trevor  (person I've been in contact with)
Phone number is 425 489 3091

Thanks for the info Stale. I need to check with the co-owners to get their thoughts on these locations. But I'll try to check into it within the next week or two (I'm really busy atm).
