I'll start.

My vote: I am neutral on the ACME flush pads. I don't play regularly enough to have it affect my play much.

Amount of money spent on arcade games at Acme in the last 3 months: $5.00    I do not visit Acme regularly anymore.

Do you live in WA? Yes
Are you avoiding Acme due to the state of the flushed pads?  No

My vote: I liked the ACME flush pads. I know I've never posted here before, and I've only ever played on two other dedicabs before in my life, but I'm excited that I just passed my first two 16s yesterday, and I probably never could have done that without the flush modding

Amount of money spent on arcade games at ACME in the past 3 months: $250.00+... I should probably cut back ^^

I live 10 minutes away from ACME, and I don't avoid the arcade since the pads are flushed.

I would probably switch to pump if they got recessed again, never been a better time to learn doubles.

My vote:  I dislike flush pads.  Have visited and played on them twice.  Didnt like the feel playing double or single so I spent all of my time and money on sn2 and piu.

I spent 20$ in may

Live in oregon

Avoid when im in the area (can play ddr and piu elsewhere)

I don't like flush pads but I like the idea of a SLIGHT raising of the arrows to compensate for 7 years of wear and tear. Since the pads have been modded to be flush, I have found the sensors unreliable. I'll deal though, I ain't even mad. I can play DDR when I'm getting too much pad crap for itg to be fun.

Bill lets Tony give us credits because of the work he does so I guess technically I don't spend much on itg but I play anywhere between 1 and 7 days a week depending on what's going on in my life.

Also last 3 months isn't a great way to gauge this because several players have been avoiding acme for 6+ months due to pad condition.  Selection bias anyone?

Edit: I live in WA and at times I avoid acme or ITG because of the pads, less because they feel flush and more because of how this seems to cause more way offs.

My vote: I like flushed pads.

They allow me to improve much faster and I don't have trouble knowing where the arrows are. However I only play singles. I play here 1-2 times a week.

Money spent in last 3 months: $30 (I just started coming here)

I live in WA

I wouldn't avoid ACME if the arrows were or weren't modded

I love the stage modded, and I'm where I am because of the modding. I liked the stage modded.

I go an average of 3-4 times a week and spend roughly 15-20 dollar each time I go. On top of that, I spend money to buy materials for modding.

Average money spent over 3 months: $300.00+
I live in WA.
I go to ACME as often as possible.

My vote: I like ACME's flushed pads. There are plenty of other cabinets in the area with unflushed pads (though this is the only machine around with custom songs, but still)
Amount of money spent on arcade games at ACME in the last 3 months: ~60.00 dollars.
I live in WA and am not avoiding ACME due to the state of the pads

I really feel bad having to vote against the majority, but this is what I've got to say:

My vote: I prefer flushed pads.

Amount of money spent on arcade games at Acme in the last 3 months: Over $120.00?? More?

Do you live in WA? Yes
Are you avoiding Acme due to the state of the flushed pads?  No. It's the only place I have to play ITG well.

My reasons, and I could be wrong as possible, are that it helps widen the range of possible newcomers/players. It may be difficult to play with at first if you're used to stock pads, and I have been through that. But after adapting, I was able to finally pass MAX 300 like a piece of cake, and I would fail 9s on DDR.
I used to be that kid who would occasionally play 6s on the dance machines. Never got past Standard Mode. When I first set foot on the ITG pads, I was nervous. I remember first meeting Andyz and I played a 9 with him. I failed it of course. Within weeks, I progressed to 10s. Within months I played 13s. Now I'm aiming for my first 16.

I know that with flushed pads, it's practically cheating or giving such a high advantage, but it's probably the only best method for allowing players to move their feet so quickly that you tap more than 15 steps a second consistently. But using the bar is cheating enough. May as well continue to open this door of intense gameplay. Then I add in sock-play and baby powder. So I am pretty much using as many handicaps as I can.

Still, I've seen newcomers play and, being previous DDR players, they've improved quite quickly on ITG's flushed pads.

I'd be pretty sad if the pads were reduced back to stock, because I would no longer be able to even survive a 12, so I must be that horrible of a player. But who gives a shit about my opinion, I'm just a stupid kid.

I just want this debate to cool down. I don't even understand how it suddenly became so heated again.

I feel neutral. Flushed pads are cool I guess, but only if they actually work. The pads at Acme are not modded correctly and desperately need new sensors or some other kind of work.

Amount of money spent: $10, because I've been avoiding Acme due to the state of the pads. It's just not worth the trip to go down there when you have no idea what kind of shape the pads will be in, so if the mods are so high-maintenance that the pads spend a large amount of time being unusable then I am not in favor of them.

My vote: I disliked the ACME flush pads.

Amount of money spent on arcade games at Acme in the last 3 months: probably $50+? How much before my opinion matters? This seems biased as fuck since the people playing the most in the last 3 months are the ones who argued for pad modding to start with.

Do you live in WA? Yes
Are you avoiding Acme due to the state of the flushed pads?  Avoiding the ITG machine, and I've gone to play a lot less since I only really like the PIU cabinet's condition. Every time I come I try a few rounds, and every time I get so many misses and bad judgments that it's not worth playing. Let alone Double mode.

Edit:

I prefer being able to "feel" where the arrows are but don't visit Acme enough to have a valid opinion so I'm Neutral.

Spent around $5 bucks in the last 3 months.

I live in WA.

No. Acme's coo.

I've just been sticking to my own PIU machine instead of going.

Vote: I prefer modded but slightly recessed. I find that with the pads as they are, I accidentally trigger sensors a bunch because I hit arrows when I think I'm not.

I've spent ~$50 at acme over the past 3 months.

I live in Seattle.

I haven't avoided playing because of the modding.

Vote: I liked the modding when it was at its peak performance, but it's been a long time since I've been to Acme. So my official vote stands at neutral.

Money spent: Gosh! I don't even remember. Most of it went to Fiesta 2...

I live in Seattle.

I wouldn't say I've been avoiding Acme due to the modding.

My vote: I like the flush pads, they work great for me. They work best when I'm playing 9-14 difficulties. There weren't many occasions where the pads were bad, even then I was able to do fairly well. It does get a little messy in the 16-17 difficulties, but am still able to pass. The pads are still in development, so give it some more thought. I frequent Acme often.

Amount of money spent on arcade games at Acme in the last 3 months: about $100-200
