I'm moving to Lynnwood, WA which is not too far north of Seattle. I'm sure I will play a lot in Lynnwood since it's close by, but I'm sure Seattle probably has some better/more popular machines. Is anyone around from these areas? I mostly focus on passing harder songs rather than getting AA or AAA ratings. I'm 22 years old and will only have one person I know up there so I'm interested in meeting new people. I'm currently in Southern California and should be arriving in Washington around June 3. You can find my contact info on my Vox account or my profile.

I see a few locations in Lynnwood and close by on DDR Freak...I hope they're nice. I'm sad to see so few SuperNova machines.

Hey there, and welcome to the Seattle area... I live in Lynnwood myself, so hopefully I can be helpful.
The good news is that there are a few machines in Lynnwood. The bad news is that they're not particularly good or, well, anything other than your basic Extreme (typically with no unlocks.) If you really, really want some decent games and social interaction, you're going to have to drive for a half an hour (to ACME bowl in Tukwila, WA) or even an hour (to Narrows in Tacoma, WA).
If you have any more questions about the area, feel free to post them-- it's nice to have more Bemani players close by.

the majestic lanes on 164th has an extreme with all songs unlocked. pads aren't too great though... left side sucks, right side is somewhat playable, and there's a nasty glare on the screen if you play on the right side

Thanks for the info guys. That sucks that the best place to go is so far away, but I may make the trip.
Do any of you have info on the following locations since these are the closest to me:
Funtasia Family Fun Park - Edmonds, WA
Kenmore Lanes and Casino - Bothell, WA
Seattle GameWorks - Seattle, WA
And I would have asked about the Majestic Lanes but that was already covered. Thanks again for all the info!

Funtasia - $1.00 for Extreme on a crappy machine. Pads are barely holding on most of the time. Also Drummania (original mix), if you're into that.
Gameworks -
Thread...
It's expensive.

Appears like I'm going to be driving further than I wanted since all the locations around the place I'm going to live suck.
My last and only hope...how is Kenmore Lanes and Casino in Bothell, WA?
EDIT: Also, how do I add my name, age, gender, etc. because I'm not seeing the options in my profile?

I haven't played on the Kenmore machine in ~2 years, but it's likely terrible. When they got their machine it was an extreme cab in perfect condition, but within a few months the pad misses were enough that I couldn't pass some 9's, and I've had the I/O system die (all four arrows stopped responding) mid-song. It was pretty obvious they made no effort to maintain it in the early days so I doubt it's changed, but as I said, it's been a couple years since I've set foot in Kenmore. Kinda sad too, it was 80 cents for 4 songs on a good machine for awhile (and they even had a PIU cabinet at one point).
Unfortunately, Lynnwood means "buy a good home Bemani collection and make the drive to Acme every once in awhile."

I can confirm the Brunswick machine is horrible and not worth playing at all. I'm going to check out the others when I have time and money.
